In the dumps.....

I didn't draw for a couple of days. I tried to draw last night but was too frustrated. A lot on my mind. The frustration made me decide to go pick some new toys up. heeheee Feelin much better. Nothin like a little motivation! I'm not gonna draw tonight but hope to get some good time in tomorrow. I was so excited about school last week it wasn't even funny. Now I'm worried I might not get in. Man!! I hate the waiting!! heehee Oh well, hopefully I'll find out soon. Till tomorrow when I post some more drawings........PEACE!!!!!!!

some hand studies....

I never knew how complex a hand was. Don't get me wrong, I knew they were complex but geez! I didn't do much last night but managed to get some in. As you can see my dog has taken over my bed! Thanks to my wife.:O) At least the puppy is cute. Anyways, I got my info letter from Animation Mentor and it came with this cool sticker. I decided to put it on my sketchbook cause I think it looks neat. Now I just gotta hope to get in. I'm a wreck and it has only been 2 days since I applied. I'm sooo stressed out waiting for the answer. I know if I get in I will try my hardest to become one of the best. If I don't get in, I don't know how I'll react. I'll definitely feel like I'm not good enough and will try to figure out where to go from there. Man!! I will be sooo devastated. I know I'll continue but how much will getting turned down affect me? I gotta stop thinking about it!! ARRRGGGGHHH!!! heehee I won't get my van back until June 14 or somewhere around there.:O( The rental van I have is sooo crappy! No power doors!!! Gettin the kids in and out sucks! So far they say there is only about 3k worth of damage done. We'll see. Anywho, gotta get to the grocery store and get necessities.:O( I will try to post more later. Don't know if I'll draw or learn some Maya. Guess it'll depend on how I feel. Till next post......PEACE!!!

Still chasin....

Here's last night's sketches. I actually went on line an drew characters I liked as fast as I could. I still think I have quite a bit room for improvement. I know....practice...practice.... practice. Anyways, my van is in the shop so I'm waiting to hear about that. I hope it's not totaled, cause then I lose a car again.:O( I'm also waiting for my glasses to get done. It should be today or tomorrow. I can't wait for that, cause reading has been nothing but a pain. Anywho, will try to get more in today, dpends on how things go. Till next post......PEACE!!!!

rough day!!

Well, it was the my birthday weekend(and my mother-in-law too!) and as you can see my day went swell. First off a motorcyclist decided not to pay attention, speed, and run into my car as I was pulling into my driveway. I almost got a ticket but argued my side with the cop and he said he had to investigate it more. The first pic is of the skid mark from the cycle, which is insanely long!! Man he was speeding! I spent about 2 and a 1/2 hours waiting for the cop to talk to me about it and let me know what was goin on. The next pics are of the damage to my van. Very upsetting to me cause now I have no mommy mobile.:O(
Anyways, on the up side, I got the books I need for school and am know working on the computer. I will probably have to finance it. I also got a sweet grill (thanks mom!) And I got a electric pencil sharpener and a sweet sketchbook ( thanks Gina and Pat!!) All in all, the beginning of the day sucked but did get much better at the end. Animation school here I come!!!!! Mel, here I come, and ain't nothin gonna stop me!! heehee Anywho, till next post ( which I will do after I stop feelin sore)......PEACE!!

I will post later. I got some quick sketchin in today.......10 minutes here....10 minutes there. At least I'm gettin it in eh? I'm still having problems catching people while watching em. They just move too fast!! And of course my eyes aren't! heehee I guess it'll eventually come to me. I am getting more observant.:O) Someday I'll get there, look back and laugh. :O) Anyways, will upload my stuff done today later tonight. I will also get some time in tonight cause tomorrow will be exciting! I get new glasses!! woo-hoo!! Here's last night's sketches. Not the greatest, but I'm learnin a lot. I'm just trying to stay out of the dumps. Everything is so difficult. How will I ever remember all this stuff? I guess it just becomes instinct.:O) I hope to get a little further and then will actually try to finish pieces. We'll see how that goes.
