Did a lot of house work this weekend. I will post the pictures later. I worked on my car. Of course something had to go wrong and I couldn't get the second rear brake pads off!! Damn thing was rusted on! Oh well, I stopped myself before I started beating the crap out of it. I spent all day yesterday on it. Now I remember why I stopped working on cars! On Saturday my wife, her sister and I reupholstered our dining room chairs. That was kinda fun. Today I'm gonna put shelves up in my workspace. I'm gonna start workin up there soon.

I really messed this one up badly. I 'm just way too tired. Warning!!! It's really bad but I'm gonna post it anyways! It may take a sec to load. I missed some key positions.....arghhh!!!! Oh well, will fix it tomorrow. I need to get my sleep!! Had a blast trying to coordinate a fight seen. Just pushed myself too hard. Man, animation is the funnest!! Sooooo addictive! Here's what I have so far for my workspace. As you can see I got 2 more toys and a poster! heehee I plan on someday putting up shelves or something to that effect. Had a hard time..

Drawing people at the water park today was damn hard! I don't know how people do it! I guess it comes down to...practice...practice...practice. I found it so difficult sketchin people in action or posing. It always seems like they're always on the move. I don't know. I'm gonna have to try it again soon. I'm very disappointed in myself. I guess I was just losing focus 'cause it was my first time. People seemed to know what I was doing even though I had the sunglasses on. heehee It was kinda funny how people went away from me when they knew what I was doin. heehee Oh well, I tried. Next time I'll be more relaxed. I might try a library or a restaurant...we'll see. Anywho, till post.....PEACE!!!! P.S. A.M. I'm comin!!! heeheehee

On my way!!

What a day!! I was pretty much draggin butt, but all in all was a great day! I got my acceptance letter into Animation Mentor today!! WOO-HOO!!! I'm so frickin excited! Too bad I have to wait till September to be in class. Hopefully someday I'll be able to hang with the best of the best....heehee! I also treated myself to a toy.....cause I figured I'd be waiting longer for the response from A.M. I did some sketchin tonight.....I'm too excited! I drew a hellboyish creature...just messin around. Can't stop thinking about how I'm gonna go to animation school. Back to my day today. I cleaned 2 levels of the house. I power washed and treated my deck.....4th of July barbq tomorrow...yes!!! heehee. Just a full day! And to my surprise I get the e-mail fromA.M.! I wasn't even expecting it. Tomorrow we're taking the kids to the water park. I'm gonna try to get some life drawing in. I hope it goes well. We'll see tomorrow I guess. Anyways, till next post.......PEACE!!!!!

Thanks to Jeff Matsuda for the cool desktop background! Awesome ......that's all I can say. Anywho, worked on faces again. Soon or a later I will get it down to a tee. I had a very busy day. I dug up my yard and put stepping stones down. I mowed my lawn. I cleaned the house. I bar-b-qued. (I made a london broil which I marinated all day! mmmmmmm) Now I should be able to draw for some time tomorrow during the day. Maybe I'll take the kids to the park and attempt to do some life drawing. I still don't think I'm fast enough, but I gotta do it soon or a later. I was gonna do it today while the kids were in the pool, but had to do some digging. Anyways, will try to post tomorrow. Till then....PEACE!!

BLAH!!!

Heehee!! "Cars" still on my mind. What awesome animation! Here's sketches from tonight. Again , not the greatest but I'm gettin better. Yes....I'm still keepin at it. I wanted to buy some "Cars" toys today but they were all sold out!! ARGGGHHH!!! Oh well, I guess I'll get new toys when I have some money. Will try to keep crankin out the drawings. Wishin I was better.....

I know I'm still learnin. I just want to eventually hang with the big time artists. (sigh) Someday. Oh to live the dream. My wife was kind enough to take the children and I to see "Cars". Frickin awesome!!! Some serious animation there. Man I want to make that stuff! I know, keep workin. I sketched alot tonight. Just kept getting the overwhelming feeling that I suck. Maybe I'm just in the dumps cause sometimes I wish it would just happen over night. Oh, the dream....heeheehee Oh well, all I can do is keep sketchin and learnin. Weekend stuff...

Weekend wasn't too bad. I had a couple of projects done. I replaced our dining room chandelier and put a ceiling fan in my mom-in-law's room. I got some drawing in. Not happy with my sketches lately. I know I can do a lot better. Gonna keep sketchin even if it sucks! There's pics of last night's sketches. I was tryin to stick to face studying but was distracted. Well, well, well....

It was a decent day today even though it rained and was hot. I finally got my van back! Woo-hoo! My friend went to her college (VCU) library and found Mastering Maya 7 for me. My wife actually hung a picture I bought. By the front door none the less. Woo-hoo for me!! The last pic was something I did tonight. I pulled it from a reference pic off the net. Think I just needed to get away from the quick sketches and draw something out. Who knows....maybe I'll color it in Photoshop. I'm almost done on that project a friend wanted me to do. I sent him the almost finished product and am waiting to hear his response. I hope that goes well. Only problem I have is that I haven't heard from A.M. Still waiting on that one. I know an answer is not coming soon, but I can always hope.:O) Anyways, gotsta sleep....till next post.....PEACE!! Oh, thanks for looking!!
