Animator looking for work.......

Since the my freelance job ended I've decided to get back to the last shot I was working on before I started the job. Things are tough and sometimes I think I should just throw the towel in. Someday all this will pay off. ;O) Went back to the short I am working on....looks like it will be a long time before that is done. lol Will post some character designs when I get a chance. Anyways, for now here is the shot I've been working on.....still needs another strong pass and the 2nd half needs like 3 more....lol I'm getting happier with each pass and hope to have another reel soon.......seriously. ;O) Anyways, thanks for looking !! Freelance animator for hire......

Always on the hunt for work.....never give up...never surrender!! lol I had to post.....still tryin not to be a slacker! Decided to post some pics of my kids. Lucky Charms II (Malcolm).......my son is playin basketball now. I'm hoping he'll be better than I was (I was pretty good , in case you were wondering!!). He can shoot.....just need to build his confidence up. Then there's Morgan.....I'm gonna have to get a lot of weapons for when she gets older!! lol The last pic is a screenshot of my progress. I decided to untie my hands some by teaching myself to model. This is my 1st model....it's pretty bad, but I know the more I do it the better I'll get. Next will be rigging. Then I plan on working on a short film. All I need now is some time! lol Right now I'm doing 2 freelance jobs and working a 3rd gig at a gas station. GLAMOROUS!!! lol I figure I will work on my short when I'm in between freelance gigs. I should probably start doing some concept art and getting my story together. So much to do so little time. Latest pass....

I didn't do much to this....it still has a long way to go. Not much time to work on this, cause I have an animation side job. It's nice to be workin as an animator again....even if it is a small gig. Better than nothing. ;O) Will go into that when I get something to post from that project, which should be soon.

Did some minor work on this......hard to keep going. I wish I could find some animation work....oh well. Just gotta keep at it. It's been awhile....I know. I just haven't been feeling like posting....been unmotivated. Now I'm trying to push myself to get back to it. I took my time but finally I have a new reel. Here's something I've been workin on. The 1st 1 is the sketch I did and the 2nd pic is after I cleaned it up in photoshop. I'd color it in but since my graphics card is shot, the color is not showing ( I colored the moon to test it...maybe I'll just use shades of gray..lol) :O( My luck!...lol wish I had more time too...oh well. Been a long time...jeez! lol I just celebrated my 36th b-day.....feelin old! lol ;O) Since my computer's graphics card is shot....so is my drive. :O( I will try to make do...there is no other way! I decided to get back to drawing....I missed it a lot. It felt great to pick up the pencil and lose myself into the lines. Hopin to get more in...that and get new demo reel done. Sorry the last video had probs.....ended up deleting the video but kept the post. Anyways, will post what I got for my b-day soon....I LOVE TOYS!! ;O) Well, till next post.....PEACE!!

Working on a new demo reel....

Been tryin to get a new reel up and in circulation. Any thoughts or critiques about it? I could really use some imput. ;OP Also got some sketchin in.....not much but at least something. Where does the time go?

Man time flies!! I never feel like I have enough time....guess that's how it goes..lol Anyways, here's some tests I did in 4 days....lol in the middle of doin contract work...lol I'm not too happy with it but I don't think I will ever be happy with my own work. ;O) I have noticed the more I do, the more I learn and the faster I get. I am hopin to post some of my "Wompkees" work sometime soon. Still waiting for the go ahead.
