The last rejection letter really did a number on my confidence. Rejection letters are nice cause at least I know someone is looking at my work. Been gettin a lot of good reviews.....just no jobs. :O( But after 3 years and a ton of rejection letters, I find myself thinking that maybe I'm crazy and need to stop. The other day I opened maya ( the 1st time in weeks!) just to see how I feel about it. I found myself animating again. The feeling of having no hope disappeared and I found myself with a renewed passion. I can and will make it.....I just need to keep moving forward. ;O) Anyways, no more rambling on, here's my next shot....thanks for looking and will try to post my progress. proud doesnt even begin to explain how I feel about you. Hey comin up on the time it took me to get my first job! I can feel it... its around the corner
I saw all your latest shots Miles and I can definitely see some progress. One thing you could do on your next shots is to try to have them tell a little story. The guy doing the windmill could for example first start looking at the camera, then do his thing and finish by standing up and wink at the camera. Same thing for the guy with the baseball bat.
