Return of the Jedi...

"Do, or do not.....there is no try." heeheeehee I just keep drawing and drawing and drawing. Probably why I'm butt tired! I'm draggin butt today, but I know I'll be full of energy by noon. I got so much cleaning and organizing to do today. Drawing will be my down time as usual. That's why I draw soo much! There just never seems enough time in the day! Oh well, till later.....OUT!

Was gonna take a break last night, but in all honesty, I couldn't stop thinking about drawing. Oh well, eventually I'll take a break. I pulled some references doing a Google search last night. Thanks to my brother I now have way too much to draw! Heeheee Thanks bro! I found something I'm gonna color in photshop. This time though I'm gonna take a lot more time and have a lot more fun! I'll start posting it when I start. Right now I'm still recovering from the Iron Man pic...heehee Anywho....till next post.....PEACE!

Pretty much done...

I'm probably gonna leave this 1 alone for awhile now. Time to go back to the pencil!! Anyways, here's some of the errors......head is suppose to be tilted upward slightly.....left arm (your left side) is out of proportion cause it's longer than the other arm...and way too many little mistakes to list. heehee oh well. I guess it's the only way I get better. I need to work on my coloring too. heehee So critical of myself...heehee Total time on this project (guesstimate) ..about 12 hours. Not too bad I guess. Next time I'll knock it outfaster! Sorry for takin a long time Mel!! (Oh yeah...where's that post slacker!?)heehee I had a blast though! Anywho....till next post...PEACE and CHICKEN GREASE!!!

I'm still working on this one. I hope to finish it soon so I can get back to my trusty pencil! heehee This is gonna be my first finished pic in quite a long time. With color too, so that in itself is a huge accomplishment. Thanks to my bro for challenging me. I'll get him back someday! Well, I have had enough for tonight. Well, I'm not finished! Darn it!! It's way harder than I thought! heeheehee I'm probably doing it the hard way. I gotta get use to using my Aiptek pad again. I'm so use to not using it. I'm working on the Iron Man pic today, so my brother doesn't get on my case. I penciled it in so far. Next I'll put it in Photoshop and color it. I can only imagine how hard it's gonna be to color! I plan on having it done by the end of tonight. I would finish it during the day, but the kids are being hyper! heehee The bottom pick was part of my warm up before I worked on the Iron Man penciling. heeheee Goin looney! Here's a project my brother assigned me. I'm suppose to finish a pic and then color it in Photoshop. Of course I had to pick a hard pic! heehee It's gettin late so I'm gonna have to finish and color it tomorrow. Man!! I should've picked something easier. Here's last night's sketches. The 3rd one is my daughter's. She likes to sit and draw with me. It makes me happy that she does. Anywho, hopefully I can draw during the day. goin crazy part 1

Heeheehee! Double post today. I wish I could just draw all day and all night! I'm having a lot of dreams of me sitting and sketching. It's like I can't stop! I'm always looking for the solutions to drawing. There's soo much to learn. At times it's very overwhelming, and at others it's calming. I guess I wouldn't do it if I didn't love it. I blame my brother for this.....:O) heeheehe Anyways, some of yesterday's pics ( I say yesterday 'cause I picked random moments through out the day to sketch, instead of waiting till the kids were asleep) were from the newspaper. Here's some stuff from last night. I just picked up a blue pencil and didn't stop. Was having a lot of fun. I gotta love nights like last night. Anyways, I'm gonna try to take the kids outside today and do some drawing. See if I can do some life drawing involving them. Here's some pics my children did. Morgan (2 years old) did the first and last one. Malcolm (3 years old) did the middle one. My daughter really loves drawing and my son does on occasion. Malcolm use to love to color and draw but I think he is losing interest. Anyways, this is my post for today. Tonight I will get back to drawing. Especially since I got some books from the library. T'was a nice break...

I took the weekend off and it felt nice. Had dreams about drawing...heeheehee Anyways, here's some of my latest. I switched between the red and the blue color pencil. I would start off with a light sketch but then would darken with it too.
